Manaslu Region Trekking is the newly opened trekking route for the visitors or trekkers. Mt. Manaslu 8156m- the eighth highest mountain in the world, successfully first climbed in 1952 by Japanese Expedition Team. But, it was tried before this first ascension of Manaslu. The name of this mountain comes from the Sanskrit world Manasa means intelect as per most common translations. During the trek round Manaslu in 1950, Jimmy Roberts and his friend had photographed as the survey of Japanese expedition.
Manaslu Tsum valley circuit trekking is one of the popular trekking in Nepal, lies western part of Nepal. This trail is recognized as Manaslu trekking or Larke Pass trekking, traverse two conservation areas- Manaslu Conservation Area and Annapurna Conservation Area Project as well. It’s opened in 1991 for foreign trekkers and it’s considered as controlled trekking area in Nepal. Mount Manaslu base camp trekking offers pristine mountain views, beautiful landscape, lush valleys, combination of cultural heritage, Manaslu Larke Pass trail joins finally with Annapurna trekking trail. Also Manaslu circuit trekking provides spectacular beauty along the border of Nepal and Tibet. Manaslu region trekking required special trekking permit through government registered trekking agency of Nepal as it is controlled area. Normally March, April, May, September, October and November are the best moments of trekking.
